      Self-Taught Film Screening and Discussion

Come join us for a screening of the film Self-Taught! It's 77 minutes long and will be followed by an optional Q&A and discussion about self-directed education. Tickets are $10/ticket and you can bring a friend or spouse for free. The film is better suited to older audiences, but if you don't have an option for childcare, bring your kids along and we'll have arrangements for childcare in another room at The Lark Center. Film Description: Through the stories of six extraordinary individuals, Self-Taught explores what self-directed education means to them and the impact it has had on their lives, ambitions, work, and beliefs.Whether Artist, Scientist, or Entrepreneur, they all have one thing in common: their belief that a true education is the capacity to author your own life instead of merely accepting the one you’ve been handed.
