CELEBRATE, COLLABORATE, COMMISERATE NETWORKING EVENT

On election night, the visual representation of our divided nation – the red / blue map – was jarring. I decided to solicit your feedback about some ideas I have for free meetups in the coming months about diversity in our nonprofits and how nonprofits might reduce racism in our country. Thus, I want to devote some time during the December 3rd meetup to present the three filters I want to suggest for viewing these issues for nonprofit leaders.

Join Austin Nonprofit Meetup on December 3rd for our FREE networking event. We are celebrating two years of monthly meetups and it is time to spend a bit of time getting to know one another, supporting each other, and beginning a dive into how to heal our divided nation.

We will include time for you to:

• Tell us about your nonprofit
• Practice sharing a story about your nonprofit’s impact and get feedback
• Share a challenge you face and ask for feedback to meet that challenge
• Ask questions

I will also share my ideas for future meetups to improve diversity in our nonprofits as well as how nonprofits can reduce racism in our country.
