What you don't know can be costly.
Come to our Rebuilding Business Nationwide Online Forum for answers!

      This week's Q&A, Thursday, Dec. 17, Noon Central (https://bit.ly/BSCRebuildBizForum)
      • Reuben Swartz, Mimiran, will share ways to create better sales proposals.
      • During the Customer Experience part of the program, attendees will share their experiences and thoughts about vendor rights — including the rights expressed by their own vendors. Are there rights that you are not exercising that would help you get better customers? Can you add to the discussion? If you have ever thought about "firing" a customer, you want to be here to talk about it.
      • Resources, recommendations, and requests from Forum attendees. These are always great recommendations for books, events, or learning opportunities to rebuild, relaunch, and grow. You can be more productive and help others, too, with the ideas you share with us.
      • Need ideas, introductions, or solutions to a problem? We're here for that. We know you will have ideas to contribute to others in our "Give and Take" as well.

We will take a break until January 7. Topic: Working together without killing each other (for partners, co-founders, and family businesses)

Join us each Thursday in 2021 at noon Central at BSC's Rebuilding Business Online Forum for our...
      Ready Room
      Share the Wisdom
      Mentor Zone
Last Word: takeaway resources, recommendations, and your personal requests
And most importantly, more about and from you that will help all of us!
Contribute your thoughts to all Forum sections or do more than that: be our "Share the Wisdom" guest expert on a Thursday Forum. This must be an idea pitch, not a sales pitch. Contact me about your idea: triplett@ownersview.com. Go here to see what our upcoming topics are and who are our speakers. We really push the speaker to our contacts and through our social media and PR. We do expect that this person will do their part and let their network know that they have been asked to speak at the Forum.
      At the last Forum...
(Recording and transcript available @ https://bit.ly/BSCRebuildBIZ12-3-2020 until 12/31/2020)
      • David Turpin, Pileus Group, a private investor and management firm, gave us a 5-point pattern to use when thinking of the right financial questions to ask when starting or acquiring a business. Here are the basic considerations: Growth, Profitability, Cash Flow, Coverage, and Capital. The biggest failure: coverage. Catches many businesses unprepared.
      • Dave Nave, Dave Nave and Associates, told us about three types of goals: Facts, Planning, and Arbitrary. You'll want to hear this to see if you are on the right track!
      • During the Customer Experience portion of the Forum, we talked briefly about customer rights and the associated costs. There are plenty of them. Be watching for a blog on this subject!
      • Forum attendees shared book and software recommendations. Useful resources as well. For planning purposes, I recommend reading this report from the SBA Office of Advocacy. https://advocacy.sba.gov/2020/12/08/december-economic-bulletin/
If this is what you are looking for, please join us. We really want to learn from you and share with you!

How can I help you or introduce you to someone who can or whom you can help? No charge. This is my gift to you. Email me directly triplett@ownersview.com.

Hope to see you online this Thursday or any Thursday. (https://bit.ly/BSCRebuildBizForum) Don't forget we're taking a break after Dec. 17 until Jan. 7, 2021.
